If you love sea turtles as much as I do, you will flip over the new limited-edition highlighter palette from Shared Planet™. Inspired by the beauty of majestic sea turtles, this shimmery Sea Turtle Highlighting Palette has five pearlescent shades to create a GORGEOUS, lit-from-within glow. Being mindful of the beauty brand choices we make today is one of the first steps we can take to a greener and happier planet. That's why when I first learned of Shared Planet™'s commitment to animals, I was thrilled to sample the Sea Turtle Highlighting Palette. Shared Planet™ realizes the sea turtle plays a vital role in preserving a healthy marine ecosystem and that with sea turtle populations declining, it is important now more than ever to make a difference. 

Capturing the beauty of the Sea Turtle Highlighting Palette in photos is difficult. You can't feel high-quality ingredients or the substantial weight (over 1/2 pound) of its packaging and you can't see the elegant look of the holographic foil as it catches the light. Take my word for it. The palette is BEAUTIFUL and the metallic powder hues are creamy smooth and melt into the skin.

Where to start with this glistening beauty must-have? Begin by applying a good primer and a dewy foundation to even out your skin tone and create a luminous base. Dress up your eyes with a coat or two of mascara and add color as you normally would with blush and/or eyeshadow. Now, you're ready to shine your light on the world with shimmering highlights.

Decide which of your features you want to showcase and sweep highlighter over the highest points. Dab highlighter to the inner corner of the eyes for soft color and a dazzling, dimensional glow. White Sands, Sun Kissed, and Coral Reef colors can be swept across cheekbones, browbones, cupid's bow of the lips, the bridge of your nose, the high points of your décolleté, and wherever you want a boost of natural radiance. Going for a bold evening look? Add highlighter over your classic smokey eye to amp up the glow and intensify the smokey effect.

The Sea Turtle Highlighting Palette is the third animal-inspired beauty collection for the young indie brand who launched in October 2019, solely to bring awareness to animals on the ‘to be extinct’ list.  Starting with their first two collections, Tiger and Polar Bear, the initial assortment included eye shadow palettes and lip glosses inspired by the colors of the two animals and their natural habitat.
