Is your hair making you look older? Is it lackluster or dry? Believe it or not, our crowning glory ages just like the rest of our body does. Whether we like it or not, coarse, wiry, frizzy, dry hair comes along with wisdom and sophistication but, thankfully, there are hair products that can help us fight the signs of aging and give our hair and scalp the extra love and care it needs.
Better Not Younger is one of the breakthrough haircare brands specifically designed for women who believe that beauty is not defined by age. It goes beyond the scope of simply moisturizing hair and instead, it changes how mature hair behaves, looks, and feels.
Better Not Younger's Hair Redemption Restorative Butter Masque has become my secret weapon against dry and damaged hair. I use this masque in place of conditioner twice a week to see the reparative results at work and keep my hair healthy and hydrated. The masque contains ingredients like natural mango, avocado, macadamia, murumuru butters, and Vitamin E to nourish and restore moisture to your hair for healthier-looking locks. After using this hair masque only twice, I was able to see and feel what all the fuss is about.
There's no shame in the gray hair game and if you like to embrace gray hair or are like me and want a blonde hair color with less orangey-yellow undertones, ensure your hair stays looking sleek and radiating a healthy hue with Better Not Younger's Purple Lining. The violet pigment neutralizes yellow reflections that arise in between hair color treatments. I switch between Silver Lining and Hair Redemption Butter Masques to achieve my desired blonde tone - not too silver and not too gold.
Another product I tried from Better Not Younger's collection is the Second Chance Repairing Shampoo For Dry or Damaged Hair. It takes a little getting used to a shampoo that doesn't lather up and is more of a creamy formula you work into your hair. It left my hair feeling washed but not stripped squeaky clean, if that makes sense.
As with all of the Better Not Younger brand products, they're sulfate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and vegan! If you are in your 40's, 50's and beyond OR are going through hormonal changes, you owe it to yourself to give your hair a fighting chance by getting enough sleep, eating healthy, and caring for your hair with products designed to tame unruly strands, hydrate hair, and soften the frizz.
Better Not Younger is available online at better-notyounger.com and now at Sephora (affiliate link) both in-store and online.
Do you have a love-hate relationship with your hair? What do you love and hate about it?

ReplyDeleteHi Shelly, I agree. I never really thought about aging hair. I always figured it just turned gray but didn't realize that it has different needs than when we were in our 20's and 30's.
