Happy Easter!
I don't know about you, but Easter is one of my favorite holidays! It brings back so many fond memories of pretty pastel dresses, white patent leather shoes, and yummy chocolate-filled baskets! Coloring Easter eggs and preparing pretty baskets for the blessing of the food on Holy Saturday are just some of the traditions my family celebrated when I was growing up. And it's nice to see my children carrying on those traditions (Mind you, without a bribe! lol). To my surprise, my kids, who are in their twenties, wanted to color eggs this year! I was shocked! My daughter will also be taking a basket of food to be blessed at church later this morning. It's comforting to know that the traditions I celebrated for Easter will be carried by my children.
For those of you with younger children, hold tight to your Easter traditions, let the reason for the season soak in, and enjoy every minute with your family!
xoxo,
