Fall Is In The Air! What Do Your Senses Think of Autumn?

Fall is truly a season that captivates the senses. Whether it is the smell of pumpkin when harvesting seeds from a jack-o-lantern or the rustle of dry leaves crunching beneath your feet on brisk morning walks, fall has a look and feel all its own.

What do your senses think of autumn? Do you have a change in seasons where you live? Having been born and raised in Ohio, the first thing that comes to my mind when thinking of fall is, of course, the spectacular autumn foliage. On sunny days, the colors are so vibrant against the big blue sky, and you're literally surrounded with a panoramic, 360 degree view. Fall also conjures up memories of my mom making pumpkin pies and the mouth-watering scent filling the house, bundling up in oversized sweaters that are super soft and cozy, and jumping into leaves piled high in the center of the yard.       

I've recently been using a delicious assortment of body care products from The Body Shop that have me reminiscing and indulging in the wonderful scents of fall! Ooooh, if only you could smell these scents through your computer or phone. I have no idea how they did it, but The Body Shop has managed to capture the very essence of fall in their body care products. 

The Body Shop's Vanilla Pumpkin scent combines the sweet, creamy scent of vanilla with a touch of pumpkin. The warm scent isn't overpowering, but can be layered to linger longer. The Vanilla Pumpkin Shower Gel is a welcome treat in teh shower (it smells amazing) and the Vanilla Pumpkin Softening Body Butter is my go-to moisturizer. This time of year my hands, feet and elbows become very dry and the body butter is ultra rich and leaves my skin super-soft. 

The Body Shop's Vanilla Chai scent is more subtle than Vanilla Pumpkin, and is perfect for the fall and winter season. I could see myself wearing this scent over the holidays and throughout the year - it's that good. For now, I'm obsessed with everything pumpkin, and have been enjoying The Body Shop's Vanilla Pumpkin products! 



It's no wonder I'm a long-time fan of The Body Shop. They're cruelty-free and their scented body care products my skin look and smell great!
