Must Have Staple Pieces For Fall

            Fall is officially here! There is nothing prettier than the autumn season. The leaves are starting to turn colors, which is a beautiful sight to take in. The sun is shining and there is no more humidity, which is the perfect weather. It’s the season for coffee, pumpkins, apples, cinnamon and brown sugar. Of course: pumpkin spiced everything! Whether you’re getting a pumpkin spiced latte from Starbucks or the pumpkin flavored lip balm from Dunkin’ Donuts – pumpkin spiced is all the rage!

With the new season, comes new fashion. September is the most important time for fashion because it’s New York Fashion Week here in America, and it’s also the release of Vogue’s most important issue of the year – The September Issue. (This year it featured American beauty, Oscar winning actress - Jennifer Lawrence. It was shot by famous photographer Annie  Leibovitz - it is a gorgeous cover!) We start to pull out our sweaters, long sleeved shirts and dresses, and our capes, in the fall. A must have product: a sweater comb from The Laundress!

            A staple piece every woman must own right now: a black choker necklace. Designer, Amrita Singh, makes gorgeous options. In particular, the black choker necklace with crystals is stunning. It is a must have accessory! It can be worn every season. (Especially this fall!)

            This season is all about denim – skinny jeans and jean jackets. American Eagle offers classic all-American jeans, that are high quality at an affordable price. Stripes are in right now. Get a variety of striped shirts, in multiple colors – especially an array of striped neutrals. A cross-body bag is the ultimate accessory. Invest in a chic leather cross-body that will last you for years. Marc Jacobs offers luxurious leather cross-body bags, in nice warm colors for fall. In particular, ‘warm zinc’ is a great choice!

       It’s essential to have a pair of fringe heels, comfortable moccasins and hip converse sneakers. Make sure you keep your shoes nice and clean when the seasons are changing, by using shoe cleaners, protectants and lotions. Minnetonka Moccasins have a limited edition ‘Hello Kitty’ moccasin – it is so cute! Hello Kitty is always in style, but right now is a time when ‘Hello Kitty’ is popping up everywhere. These pink, embroidered, well-made, moccasins are a must buy. They even feature little metal bows on the sides, to resemble the iconic ‘Hello Kitty’ bow! Activewear is becoming much more mainstream in fashion. Kate Hudson has a great line, Fabletics, which is a collection of activewear. Demi Lovato currently has a line through Fabletics that is really nice – it makes you feel ‘Confident’ – just like her hit song!

    A must-have beauty essential is NARS – laguna and orgasm – bronzer and blush combination. This cozy season wouldn’t be complete without new reading material! One of the best-selling romance novelists, Sarah Dessen, just released her new novel ‘Once And For All.’ It’s a fantastic must-read. With the smash hit from Disney, Beauty and the Beast, having just came out this year – there is also now Beauty and the Beast tea. (It’s great if you need to warm up when it’s breezy outside, or if you need to do a vocal warm-up.) Lavazza’s ‘classico’ roast coffee is the go to beverage to brew at home. Put your beverages in a chic Pantone mug – the art industries have been buzzing about these mugs for the last few years! Mason jars are always nice, you can drink out of them or use them for home décor. Try using a mason jar tumblr for when you’re on the go and want to take a drink with you! (How cute are they?) Also, treat yourself to something sweet! Tate’s Bake Shop in The Hamptons, makes amazing chocolate chip cookies and pies, they are irresistible! You can find some of the cookies they make in your local drugstore.
