I recently purchased my first essential oil diffuser! have been a fan of aromatherapy for quite a few years, but have never experimented with using essential oils in a diffuser. I would mix essential oils with coconut oil and apply it to my wrists.
Well, let me tell you, I’ve been missing out all these years. Mizoo's Aroma Diffuser & Humidifier takes aromatherapy to a whole new level! I can't even tell you how much I am enjoying natural fragrances throughout my home.
I decided to purchase the Mizoo Aroma Diffuser/Humidifier because I wanted a dual purpose diffuser and humidifier. My skin is dry all year round and I felt a cool mist humidifier would help hydrate my skin. I also liked the one year warranty and it had positive reviews.

The diffuser’s sleek, wood-grain design fits in well with my décor and is large enough to diffuse fragrance throughout the room. I have a rather large master bedroom and I can smell the lavender scent when I walk in the room. The unit itself is very lightweight (even when filled with water) and portable, and can easily be moved from room to room.
The diffuser comes with an adapter, a measuring cup and the two-piece unit. To enjoy, simply fill it up with water, add a few drops of essential oil, plug it in, and set to desired setting. I find the soft pastel, LED lighting to be very calming and relaxing. There are also several points where the light will appear to blend slightly, giving a pretty gradient effect. And speaking of calming and relaxing, the diffuser is SUPER QUIET! If it weren’t for the lights, I don’t think I would even realize it is running! It's seriously that quiet!

I only use a few drops of essential oil to fill the room with REAL, natural fragrance. I’ve been using lavender oil in my bedroom and it really relaxes me and creates a calming and soothing atmosphere. Cinnamon is a delicious scent that I use in the kitchen. When my daughter came home from college with a stuffy nose and chest congestion, I placed eucalyptus oil in the diffuser and placed it in her bedroom. She said it helped.
Note: I've read that it is not recommended to use citrus essential oils with this type of diffuser as they can cause parts to erode. I can't confirm that this is true, but I wanted to put it out there for your consideration.

With one single fill, the unit will work continuously for up to six hours. In addition, the diffuser turns itself off when the container runs out of water, thus preventing any possible damage to the unit.
Cleaning the unit is super easy, too. There is nothing to disassemble. Simply lift the top and empty the water from the base. Use a damp rag to clean and wipe the interior of any oil residue and allow to air dry.
Overall, I am so glad I purchased the Mizoo Diffuser & Humidifier! My whole house smells wonderful and the soothing, cool mist gently humidifies the room. It’s all the benefits of a spa in the privacy of my own home!
I like that this diffuser is also a humidifier.
ReplyDeleteMy skin is very dry and it will certainly come in handy. I've always read that cool-mist humidifiers are best to use, too!
DeleteThanks for stopping by, Elyse!
Been thinking about getting a diffuser to hopefully help with allergies. First, I need to find out what essential oils would help allergies.
ReplyDeleteI have had a diffuser for the past 2 years or so and wouldn't give it up for the world.
