A Dreamy Pixi Beauty Collaboration

I have great news, ladies! Pixi by Petra has opened their first-ever beauty boutique in the United States! This is HUGE news, because up to now, you could only find Pixi cosmetics at Target stores and Pixi's online boutique. The advantages to shopping the gorgeous LA-based boutique is having the opportunity to sample products and chat with make-up artists who can help answer any questions you may have. 

For those of you who are not familiar with Pixi Beauty, it was founded in London by Petra Strand, a Swedish-born makeup artist with more than 20+ years of experience. This amazing line focuses on natural, botanical-based beauty products that are cruelty-free, come in smart packaging, and are affordably priced.

Along with the opening of its first U.S. store, Pixi also launched their Pixi Pretties Collaborator Collection. Four beauty bloggers were given the amazing opportunity to help create their very own Pixi dream products that bear their names. Could you imagine? It's a dream come true for every beauty enthusiast!

Pixi Beauty was kind enough to send us a #pixipretties collaboration boxed gift set to sample and share with YOU, our readers! The size of the box is about 3' x 3' and the presentation is absolutely stunning! And here are the Pixi Pretties...

Wow! The #pixipretties collection is not only stunning, but I have to admit that I was a little overwhelmed, too. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't wait to dive right in, but how was I going to sample everything and share it with you in post. (A good problem to have, right?). Well, my daughter (with very little prodding) was quick to come to my rescue and help with sampling. O'kay...it took no prodding at all. She had already opened and tried some of the palettes and the Strobe and Sculpt Brush, before I could even ask her.😉

Kristina used the Strobe & Sculpt kit that combines three matte bronzing shades with three shimmering highlighters, to achieve an all-over warmth and glow to her face. Kristina lightly blended the bronzers across her forehead, under the cheek bone, jawline and sides of nose, and added highlights to the top of her cheeks and high points of her face. The kit is packed with pigment, so Kristina used very little bronzer for a big impact. The Minx colored bronzer is the lightest bronzing shade in the bunch and has a soft texture with little fallout. For best results, dab lightly into palette to avoid excess or loose powder. The Caviar Dreams and Honey Bunny highlights were velvety smooth and the glow lasted for hours. The special contour brush is super soft and makes application a breeze.

The Pixi Beauty line of color cosmetics and skin care products ranges from $8 to $34. If you do not live near the LA boutique, you can find the limited line at Pixi Beauty and Target online.  Target stores carry Pixi Beauty products as well, although I've heard some of the collaboration products are difficult to find in-store.
