Dial Up Lashes From Flutter to Full with Clinique!

If there is one makeup product I can't live without, it's mascara. As a matter of fact, it's probably been over 30 years since I've ever left my house without wearing it. I wouldn't exactly call it vanity. It's just that my blonde, skimpy eyelashes are practically invisible without mascara and I literally feel naked without a coat (of mascara, that is!). And the better my lashes look, the better I feel, too! 

 
If you love mascara as much as I do, then you will understand why I was excited to receive Clinique's newest Lash Power Flutter to Full Mascara to try out! The first thing that caught my eye was its shiny metallic packaging and a cute lash selector that lets you 'dial-up' the amount of volume you want with a simple twist of the barrel. I'm a sucker for packaging, so I could not resist it and tried it out that very minute. Just look at her! (See below.) Isn't she a beauty?

But the packaging is not the only thing that makes this mascara stand out from the rest! It also resists smudges and smears for up to 24 hours! Now, I don't make a habit of going to bed with my mascara on (or any makeup for that matter), but I had to see for myself if it would still be smudge-free in the morning. And you know what? It lived up to its claims! There was no smudging overnight and my mascara was intact. So, if you are looking for a mascara to take you from early in the morning to late at night and beyond, this mascara is for YOU!

In the photo below, I applied one coat of mascara on my eyelashes set at the fullest setting (the thickest lashes). To get the look shown in the photo below, I began at the base of my lashes and swept upward in a zig-zag motion. I have the skimpiest lashes anyone could ever have, so I'm super impressed that my lashes look as good as they do! I have to believe that it is a combination of the firm bristle brush wand and the deep, glossy black formula. It defines each lash and lengthens and thickens my stubby lashes. It resists clumping, too! The mascara also dries quickly and does not transfer to my brow bone. As a beauty blogger, I find too many mascaras stay wet and will end up transferring onto my skin, so the quick drying formula of Clinique's Lash Power Flutter to Full, is especially awesome!

Another claim of the Flutter to Full Mascara is that it is easy to remove with warm water. I am happy to report that in the shower after about a minute under warm water, the mascara breaks down and washes right off. {Very impressive!}

Clinique has also recently introduced is its High Impact Custom Black Kajal Eyeliner. I'm loving this pigment packed eyeliner with its smooth, effortless glide-on application and rich black color that stays put. Yes, you can still blend it, but you will end up with a smokey shadow around the original pencil stroke. It lives up to its claims. We've had 90 degree heat over the last few days and I can personally vouch that this eyeliner resisted smudging even when it is hot and humid!

The High Impact Kajal Eyeliner is available in Blackened Black, Blackened Brown, Blackened Green, and Blackened Blue. I can't wait to try them all!
