There's an undeniable feeling of luxury when fashion ensembles fuse sophisticated, rich textures with a neutral color palette. In a fashion world where trends come and go, having go-to neutral pieces can help to keep your look classic year after year. Neutral pieces will also add to the seasonal life of your wardrobe pieces as they ease in the transition from summer to fall.
While I adore a neutral monochromatic look, not everyone can wear earthy toned neutrals well. (That's me!) Depending on your skin tone, hair color and eye color, certain neutral shades can flatter you or make you look washed out. Be sure to try neutral articles of clothing on first to see if it is a flattering color for you. If a particular piece doesn't flatter you, but you have got to have it, try applying your favorite lipstick, bronzer and/or blush color. I personally do not feel any earthy tones flatter my skin, but when I add my favorite lipstick and/or blush, I can pull off the look! Another helpful tip is to add a necklace that you know complements your skin tone. Wearing the necklace near the neckline will reflect the color of the jewelry onto your face instead of the neutral colored clothing.

What a beautiful collection to take you into to fall, but I think they can be worn year round if paired correctly with perhaps seasonal colours!! I love neutral cosmetics with my colouring and hair colour they seem to work for me ~ or I think they do!
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right, Ivonne. They would work year round! I'll bet the neutrals look awesome on you!

Great ensemble. I love all your picks and have a pair of booties that look very similar to the pair shown here.
