This month I received a wonderful package of goodies from e.l.f. that I can't wait to share with you! The package had some of their newest cosmetics, and let's just say I'm sooo impressed with these products. The collection shown here consists of e.l.f.'s Illuminating Palette, Prism Eyeshadow Palette in Sunset, Moisturizing Lipstick in Marsala Blush, Mattifying Blotting Papers, Precision Liquid Eyeliner and Kiss It Goodbye Lipstick Remover.
I've been having fun experimenting with all the highly-pigmented colors in the Prism palette (shown below). Just a touch goes a long way! Gorgeous colors!
e.l.f.'s Marsala Blush Moisturizing Lipstick.
I am wearing e.l.f.'s Marsala Blush Moisturizing Lipstick in the photo below. It is a deep pinky-mauve color. The photo above is picking up a reddish-orange shade and it is not true to the actual color. Use the photo below as an example of color hue. The lipstick is rich with moisturizers that glide on velvety smooth thanks to the the infusion of shea and vitamins! The color works perfectly with my skintone and I like that it adds a bit of color, but is not too overwhelming. Great for everyday wear.
The Illuminating Palette holds 4 gorgeous shades which captures, diffuses and softens the way light reflects on the skin. I'm wearing the top right and bottom left colors. I am also wearing a mixture of shades from the Prism Eyeshadow Palette. The creamy white was applied to the inner corner of the eyes and I used the pink on the far right over the lids. The Precision Liquid Eyeliner takes a few minutes to dry, but will not smudge when dry! LOVE!

Very pretty eyeshadow colors. Are you wearing the gold/coppery color in your photo? I like your lipstick color. It looks very natural. I've been looking for oil blotting tissues and never thought to check if elf had them.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, I have a bit of the gold color on my brow bone. It was too gold for my taste (age) and toned it down by blending in the shimmery cream color on the left end. It is very light and works well in the corner of the eyes as noted above.
DeleteThanks for stopping by! nancy
Some of the shadows look too orange, but I like the colors you are wearing. Very pretty.
