You know my greatest thrill comes from discovering new beauty products and introducing them to you, so it should come as no surprise that when I heard Christie Brinkley had a new line of skincare products, I had to try to get my hands on a product to review and share with you! I think we can all agree that Christie looks absolutely amazing at 61 years young and that she is one of those timeless models/celebrities who has aged gracefully, but let's find out if if her Close Up Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment will help us to age gracefully too!

As noted in the description above, Christie Brinkley's Authentic Skincare Close Up Instant Wrinkle Reducer & Treatment. is a unique formula created to tighten and firm the skin around the eyes, forehead and instantly reduce (or eliminate) the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and smooth under-eye bags and puffiness around the eyes. 

As the instructions suggest, I first applied a moisturizer to my face and followed up with the Instant Wrinkle Reducer & Treatment. I used a very small amount (less than pea-size) and using circular motions, applied it to my problem areas between my brows, around my eyes and above my lip. I used circular motions first and then patted and lightly pressed the formula into my skin to set.

Did the product live up to its claims? A definite "yes" on the claims for tightening and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. I noticed an improvement in the area between my brows and on my upper lip almost instantly! You can actually see the visible results in my very up close and personal before & after photos below!  The wrinkles are softer and the fine lines have disappeared! 

The not-so-good news is the area around my eyes tightened as well and I was very pleased with the results, until I smiled. Despite moisturizing first, my skin was very tight and when I smiled, my wrinkles appeared more pronounced due to the tightness of my skin. Because of of the over tightening of the delicate area around my eyes, I will not be using this product on my eye area, but instead will be using it on my upper lip and between my brows where it has proven to work well. I can't say that I noticed a difference in my under-eye circles or puffiness, but I know of other beauty bloggers who have. In any event, at $79.95 for a.33 oz tube, I will be using my sample sparingly and for special occasions only.
