*SEE UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST!*

If you have been following my blog for the last few months, you know that I am a fan of
Madam Glam Gel Nail Polish.  Their gel polishes are super easy to use and keep my nails looking as if I've just stepped out of a salon!

Madam Glam's super easy-to-use 3-step UV gel nail polish system consists of a base coat, nail color, and top coat. Each step requires a short curing time: 2 minutes by UV Lamp, 30 sec by LED, and offers the ideal solution for those seeking a well-groomed manicure without a visit to a manicurist. It's so fast, easy, long-lasting, and oh so shiny, people will think you've spent a fortune on your nails! Just take a look at the high gloss shine on my nails (below) and you will see why I LOVE Madam Glam!

I used three thin coats to get the results you see in the photos. The bright pink color is Magenta #400 and I am extremely pleased with the overall quality and ease of use.  My mani is four days old in the photo below. There are no signs of wear, and the shine is incredible! Madam Glam claims 3-4 weeks of durability on their site - very impressive!

A few tips before getting started:
1) Use a cutical stick to wipe excess gel from around the nail plate BEFORE curing. Once the nail is cured, it will be difficult to remove from your skin.
2) When the base coat is curing under the lamp, check to see if you missed covering any area of your nails. (Base coat glows under the light and will reveal missed spots). If this happens, simply re-apply the base coat over the missing area and cure.

Suggested application:
- Prepare nails by pushing back cuticles with a cuticle stick.
- Gently buff the shine from your nails.
- Remove dust from nail plate with an alcohol wipe.
- Apply a thin layer of the UV Base Coat Gel to nail plate
- Cure 2 minutes by UV Lamp, 30 sec by LED.

- Apply a thin coat of Soak-Off Nail Polish. Don't worry if the first coat appears streaky.   The second coat will offer better coverage.
- Cure 2 minutes by UV Lamp, 30 sec by LED.
- Repeat steps 5-6, if necessary. Some colors may need 2-3 coats.
- Apply a thin coat of Madam Glam's Top Coat.
Cure 2 minutes by UV Lamp, 30 sec by LED,
- Use an alcohol pad to wipe off tacky residue to reveal a high gloss shine!

That's it! No additional drying time is required! My nails look soooo shiny that you would think they are still wet, but in fact, they are ready for anything!
For an easy visual tutorial, see my Youtube video HERE!

The Shimmering White color is very pretty by itself, but since I had difficulty capturing the shimmer in photos, I used it as a base nail color for my mani shown below. The Shimmering White is perfect for the bride and anytime you want a soft, virgin-polished look.
Here are my nails using Madam Glam's Shimmering White Gel Nail Polish as a bottom coat and Stardust as a top coat. You know what they say...When in doubt, just add glitter.

Madam Glam's UV Gel Nail PolishBase Coat, and Top Coat retail for $19.95 each. Very affordable when you consider the price of a weekly manicure. If you do not already have an LED or UV light, there will be an extra cost for that as well. The good news...For a limited time, receive 30% off when you use Promo Code YT30OFF at checkout!

NAIL UPDATE!

Hey ladies! I wanted to share a photo of my daughter's nails, 15 days AFTER giving herself a manicure using Madam Glam's Baby Pink Gel Polish (#66). She graduated on May 31st (see photo below) and 15 days later, her nails look great! You can see the nails have grown out, but they still look shiny and basically chip-free! There is one very small area on her thumb which she peeled away herself, but other than that, I think they look great! A little too long for my liking, but very pretty. (That's just me being a mom).

No. There are no affiliate links in this post - just wanted to share the update with you! Have you tried Madam Glam or another gel polish before, how did it work for you? Let us know in the comments below!

Have a great day!

  1. I have only used gel polish once for a wedding. This sounds simple enough to do at home. The colors look very pretty and I am really loving the sparkle nails.
