I hope everyone had a great weekend and had a chance to get out and enjoy the beautiful show of color as the leaves change to a spectacular mixture of autumn hues. While it looks beautiful, it's also a reminder that the weather is turning colder and the winter months are just around the corner.
If you're like me, you probably worry about the drying effect winter has on your skin. Well, Dermalogica has a terrific exfoliant that helps to combat dry skin. Before even trying Dermalogica's exfoliant, I first did my research to make sure that I was applying a quality product to my skin. I was very impressed to learn that Dermalogica is created by skin care professionals trained at The International Dermal Institute and that their product line is free of common irritants and ingredients that could cause breakouts.
Dermalogica's daily microfoliant is an exfoliator that is gentle enough for all skin conditions. I have sensitive skin and found no irritation whatsoever. It is very mild, yet effective, and gently buffs away dead skin cells leaving my skin feeling smoother and my complexion looking brighter.
To use, add about a half-teaspoon of Daily Microfoliant into very wet hands and create a lathery paste by rubbing hands together. Apply in circular motions to your face, avoiding the eye area. Massage gently for one minute and rinse thoroughly. The directions say to follow with Multi-Active Toner or UltraCalming Mist and prescribed Dermalogica Moisturizer.
I have never used an exfoliator quite like this! It is a Rice-based powder that when mixed with water releases Papain, Salicylic Acid and Rice Enzymes that micro-exfoliate dead cells. The result: softer, smoother, velvety skin! The exfoliator also contains a super-soothing blend of Green Tea, Ginkgo and Colloidal Oatmeal which helps to calm the skin, leaving it clear and refreshed.
Overall, I am very impressed with the Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant. It lives up to its claims of being gentle and delivers the promise of softer, smoother skin. Dermalogica is a 5-star top seller and retails for $52. While a bit pricey, you only need to apply a small amount to exfoliate the face.
Dermalogica offers free deluxe samples with every order and free shipping on purchases of $50 or more. To purchase this product or learn more about Dermalogica, visit their website HERE. Be sure to connect with Dermalogica on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and promotional updates.

The rice powder sounds very gentle. I usually have sensitivity issues with exfoliators, but will have to give this one a try.

ReplyDeleteExfoliation makes such a huge difference in how soft your skin is. I've never seen one like this before.
ReplyDeleteI have heard of Dermalogica and have been really curious about this brand. This exfoliator sounds perfect for me. The one that I use isn't quite strong enough, so I'd love to try this brand and product to see if it works well for me too.
