On my recent mini-vacation trip to Orlando, everything was in bloom at Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival! Disney character topiaries are on display along with floral versions of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck starring in a celebratory cookout scene in living topiary color. Mickey fires up the grill while Pluto swipes a link of hot dogs and Minnie chills out on a colorful blanket of blossoms.

Topiary Mickey and his floral team welcome you at the entrance to Epcot! |
|
Romance is in bloom as Cinderella and the Prince dance the day and night away! |
|
Tea anyone? |
|
Beauty and the Beast |
|
Lady and the Tramp! |
|
Tinkerbelle twinkles in the sun! |
|
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! |
Throughout the 75-day garden party, you will discover festival surprises around every corner including new topiary triumphs, a butterfly bounty, whimsical children’s play areas, HGTV celebrity designers, daily hands-on gardening seminars and a Festival Center packed with events that offer innovative ideas, gardening know-how and design tips. On weekends, top Flower Power rockers of the 1960s and ’70s will perform. Every Friday through Sunday, HGTV design celebrities will host Festival Center seminars.
In all, more than 100 topiaries, 240 floating mini-gardens, dozens of flower towers and sweeping beds of multi-colored blooms add floral splendor to the park landscape.
Our Hotel Stay at Galleria Palms!
My husband and I stayed at Galleria Palms Hotel. It was our third stay at this clean and comfortable hotel where the location to Disney World and the price are unbeatable!
Hubby and I are not the only ones who love Galleria Palms. It is listed as one of the top 25 hotels out of 162 hotels in Kissimmee! Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast every morning which includes eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit, and more. The hotel manager, Lindsay, is the sweetest and insures that each guest has a comfortable stay. The kind folks working the front desk are eager to help as well. Nightly rates range from $69 and up!
Why would you stay anywhere else? The location is fantastic and the pictures speak for themselves.
Should you decide to stay at Galleria Palms, please drop me a note and let me know how you enjoyed your stay!
