Mía Mariú Beauty Products Review & Giveaway!

Are you looking for healthy products to nourish your skin? While we all strive to eat healthy and drink plenty of water, we often don't think about what we are using day to day on our skin.  Mía Mariú products combine the highest quality botanicals, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and peptides (a wrinkle treatment) into their skin care, vitamins and beauty products. I am thrilled to have had a chance to try three wonderful products from Mía Mariú. 

The first product I reviewed was Mía Mariú's Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation in Honey. When I opened the foundation's bottle, I was happy to see a sanitary pump dispenser. It's reassuring to know dirt and air are kept out of my foundation. Since I am fair-skinned, I chose a slightly darker shade than my natural skin tone to achieve a nice healthy glow. I cleansed and moisturized my skin and applied the foundation. I was impressed as the liquid foundation seamlessly blended into my jawline. I couldn't even tell where the foundation began or ended. The mineral foundation went on smoothly and blended easily. Absolutely terrific! It provided ample coverage, but it wasn't too heavy. The foundation stayed fresh and natural looking throughout the day. and over the past week that I've been wearing it, I am very pleased. I love that  Mía Mariú's  foundation contains natural minerals, green tea, and Vitamins A and E too. 

#15 Shadow Brush

The second product I reviewed was the mineral shadow/liner in Azabache. It's a silvery-black, metallic-colored shadow made with pure mineral pigments. It went on easily and blended well with Mía Mariú's soft No. 15 Eye Shadow Brush. A little bit of this mineral shadow goes a long way, so you will want to apply the shadow sparingly at first and add more to intensify the color. My daughter is darker complected than I am and can wear the Azabache shadow in its fullest intensity (see below). I've since learned how to achieve a fun and flirty, smokey eye effect with this gorgeous shimmering shadow. When I apply the shadow on myself, I use it as an eyeliner. I add a little bit of water and apply with a narrow and fine brush to create a precise line above my lashes. I love the sparkle and LOVE Mía Mariú!
