Glamming It Up for the Sweet Dreams Gala Charity Event!

On Saturday evening, the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center held it's annual Sweet Dreams Gala at the Intercontinental Hotel & Conference Center in Cleveland, Ohio with over 200 people in attendance. While everybody was glammed up and ready for a good time, we were reminded of the important reason why we were there. We listened to a 17 year old boy speak of his childhood memories and how thankful he was to the Advocacy Center for helping him and his mother in their time of need.

The formal event was hosted by Betsy Kling of WKYC, Channel 3 Chief Meterologist. Highlights of the evening included dinner, a silent auction, live auction, music and dancing.

I wore a creamy white dress with a gold sparkling cream tulle overlay that I purchased from Ebay last fall. My husband, Ralph, wore his Ralph Lauren suit and Gianni Versace tie.

Distinguished guests of the Gala Event included Cleveland Browns Coach Pat Shurmur and his wife, Jennifer. Isn't she gorgeous? Love her gown too! I'm envious of their height as I'm wearing my 1" platform heels! {smile}


The dinner and dessert presentation were fabulous and tasty too!  

It was a terrific event for a great cause and a good time was had by all.
